Mon. Feb. 1, 1904 I took the children to school. Came home & went down to the Powell place after fodder. I took F. Correll 107 lb of beef hind quarter. He owes me for 53 lb., the balance we had borrowed. I fixed to butcher a hog tomorrow.
Tues. Feb. 2, 1904 Snow & wind. John Banks helped me butcher a hog today. 2/3 of a day.
Wed. Feb. 3, 1904 8 below. Took the children to school & went after them in the evening.
Thurs. Feb. 4, 1904 12 below. Took the children to school, done the chores & went down to the Irvin farm after a load of wood. Paid Whetstone $1.00 on account.
Fri. Feb. 5, 1904 Warmer. Took the children to school. Came home & cleaned out the stables. Thawing today. Rain this evening.
Sat. Feb. 6, 1904 Very icy. At home all day. Frank Pinkerton & wife was down. I sold him 60 lb of beef at 4 1/2 cts. $2.70. They went home in the afternoon.
Sun. Feb. 7, 1904 At home all day. It is very icy.
Mon. Feb. 8, 1904 Fine. I chored all day. Broke up grit for the chickens.
Tues. Feb. 9, 1904  Chored all day.
Wed. Feb. 10, 1904 Chored all day.
Thurs. Feb. 11, 1904 Chored all day. Lib & Etta went to Warsaw. Gave Etta $1.00.
Fri. Feb. 12, 1904 Dan Blosser came out in the fore noon. He cleaned out the stables in the afternoon. He worked 1/2 day today.
Sat. Feb. 13, 1904 Dan Blosser took a load of wood to Warsaw. Sold it to Henry Shafer for $2.50. Paid Ashbaugh & Wimer for block salt & 1 lantern globe $1.10 & 15 cts for his dinner.
Sun. Feb. 14, 1904 We went up to Sunday School. Wasant any. Came home & went up to Weslay Anglains wifes funeral. Ezra & Em was here for dinner.
Mon. Feb. 15, 1904 I helped F. Clinger fix his pump. Dan Blosser took 1 cord wood to Warsaw. Sold it to G. Brown. got $2.50 for it. Paid the Globe .25 for Paul overhalls. Will Gochenhour was up & settled his rent up to April 1st 1904. $9.00. Paid him $2.00 for halling fodder.
Tues. Feb. 16, 1904 4 Below. I thawed my pump & fixed it. Put a new shaft on it. Dan Blosser took 1 cord of wood to Warsaw. Sold it to William Garner for $2.50.
Wed. Feb. 17, 1904 6 Below. Dan took 1 cord of wood to Warsaw. Sold it for $2.50. I went down to J. Harmans after quarterlage.
Thurs. Feb. 18, 1904 Stormy. Zero. I gathered preacher money. Dan chored. Paid Rev. Hibbs $3.00
Fri. Feb. 19, 1904 Dan took a load of wood to Warsaw. Got $2.50 for it. Paid 40 cts for coffee & soap at Kilmers.
Sat. Feb. 20, 1904 Lib & I went up to quarterly meeting at Clunette.
Sun. Feb. 21, 1904 Rain. At home all day.
Mon. Feb. 22, 1904 Cold & Blustery. Dan came out in the fore noon. He worked in the afternoon. Got wood up for butchering. I dug two skunk out up in my woods. Dan & I took them over to Frank Funks. He wasent at home. We went down & got a load of wood.
Tues. Feb. 23, 1904 We butchered 4 hogs today. Correll, B. Gochenhour & John Banks helped. We got about 30 gallons of lard.
Wed. Feb. 24, 1904 Wind from the west. Dan took 2 cords of wood to Warsaw. Got $5.00 for it. Sold it to George Brown & Deen. Very icy.
Thurs. Feb. 25, 1904 Dan Blosser took 2 cords wood to Warsaw. Sold it to Lizzie Cox. Got $5.00. I chored today.
Fri. Feb. 26, 1904 Wind from the east. 10 Below. Dan & I went to the Irvin farm & got 2 cords wood. He took it to Warsaw in the afternoon. Sold it to P. Morris & J. Baker at $2.50 per cord. Very Icey. Ezra was here for dinner.
Sat. Feb. 27, 1904 Dan & I went down & got 2 cords wood. Dan took it to Warsaw in the afternoon. Sold it to P. Morris. Got $4.00 for it. I went over with John Banks. Paid the Globe $10.00 for John a suit of clothes.
Sun. Feb. 28, 1904 Went up to Sunday school. H. Bowers & George Bittikoffer came down.
Mon. Feb. 29, 1904 Rain. I fixed harness. It hailed till the ground was covered. Hail as large as a hulled walnut.
