Wed. Sept. 1, 1909 I went after the Poling hogs. paid D. C. Poling $24.00. I helped Paul plow in the afternoon.
Thurs. Sept. 2, 1909 Paul & I jerked some corn for the hogs. M. Kring pd me for pasture $4.00. Ezra brought Aunt Sophia Senour & Donald Hon (Hahn) out here. 
Fri. Sept. 3, 1909 I changed my hogs from the orchard to the lane. I went down to the Powell place after truck.
Sat. Sept. 4, 1909 I went over to Crings to see a sheap. Donald Hon & I went hunting a little while. Dident get anything. Aunt (Sophia) & Donald & I went down to Shans a little while. I salted my cattle.
Sun. Sept. 5, 1909 Went to S. School.
Mon. Sept. 6, 1909 Paul & Mary started to Warsaw to school this morning. Lib took Aunt (Sophia) & Donald to warsaw.
Tues. Sept. 7, 1909 I plowed.
Wed. Sept. 8, 1909 I plowed.
Thur. Sept. 9, 1909 I plowed.
Fri. Sept. 10, 1909 I plowed.
Sat. Sept. 11, 1909 Plowed till 4 oclock then I went with Marion Eddler up to see his corn. I bought it. Gave him 120.00. Gave him a check for it. Pad him $1.50 for part of a harrow.
Sun. Sept. 12, 1909 Went to S. School & Church
Mon. Sept. 13, 1909 Took the washing over to C. Renchbergs & chored.
Tues. Sept. 14, 1909 I chored.
Wed. Sept. 15, 1909  Oscar, John & I cut up 54 shocks of corn on the Poling place.
Thurs Sept. 16, 1909  Oscar & I cut up corn on the Smith place.
Fri. Sept. 17, 1909 Oscar & I cut up corn on R. Wallace & C. Smith place. 
Sat. Sept. 18, 1909  Oscar & I finished cutting up corn on R. Wallaces place till noon. I went down & salted my cattle in the evening.
Sun. Sept. 19, 1909  I went to S. School. 
Mon. Sept. 20, 1909 Rained. I took the washing up to C. Renchbergs, then I went down to John & Frank Hoffers & bought a veal calf. They brought it over in the evening. It weighed 160 lb at 6 cts. $9.60 Pd.
Tues. Sept. 21, 1909  I helped pick peaches & some grapes.
Wed. Sept. 22, 1909 I finished drilling wheat about 3 oclock then husked some corn. 
Thurs. Sept. 23, 1909 Oscar & I cut up some corn. John helped in the fore noon.
Fri. Sept. 24, 1909 Oscar & I cut up corn. 
Sat. Sept. 25, 1909 Went to warsaw. Paid Richardson $3.15. Paid Hass Bro 30 cts. Paid Johnson for molasses $3.80. Paid Colemans $50.00 Insurance.
